  • HOTEL STEVEN is pet-friendly, so it is essential that you know the regulations for dogs and cats that enter our facilities.

     

    1. The owner or guardian of the pet is directly responsible for the naughty, careless or naughty behavior caused by the pet in a given situation.

    2. The owner(s) or the person in charge of the pet will be responsible for any visitor or domestic animal that is affected in their physical or emotional integrity. Pets are allowed, as long as they are domestic animals (dogs or cats). Under no circumstances will the entry of animals such as reptiles, arachnids, birds, among other species prohibited by law, be allowed.

    3. According to Law 746 of 2002, large, medium or highly dangerous breeds: American Staffordshire Terrier, Bullmastiff, Doberman, Dogo Argentino, Dogo de Bordeaux, Fila Brasilero, Mastrín Neapolitano, Pit Bull Terrier, Amercian Pit Bull Terriet, De Presa Canario , Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier, Japanese Tosa, must wear a muzzle at all times. Likewise, the owners, possessors or holders of these dogs must carry the document that proves their registration with the competent Municipal Administration.

    4. HOTEL STEVEN reserves the right to admit any of these pets, if it is deemed appropriate for the safety of its visitors.

    5. By bringing pets into our Hotel, it is understood that the owner(s), or person in charge of them, declare that their pets do not belong to the breeds contemplated within article 108 of Law 746 of 2022 (Potentially dangerous canine specimens) and in case If they belong to one of these breeds, they have adopted the necessary measures, such as wearing a muzzle and leash. Article 57 of Decree 2257 of 1986

    6. The entry of pets that do not comply with all regulations is not allowed (Vaccine card, walking collar)

    7. Please note that, for pets to enter, they must comply with vaccination, health and safety regulations. In case of an eventuality, you must have your vaccination card at hand.

    8. Your pet must always be with a responsible adult while inside the hotel facilities. The pet cannot be left alone in the room, with the exception of 30 minutes when eating breakfast.

    9. Children should not be alone with pets.

    10. It is prohibited to use crockery and glassware intended for our guests to feed their pet. The Owner must carry the necessary feeders for this purpose.

    11. It is prohibited to bathe pets in the room's showers (as well as the use of towels).

    12. Pets cannot be inside the room during cleaning service. Please notify the hotel reception so they can organize and clean it.

    13. During your visit to the hotel, your pet must wear a collar and leash at all times.

    14. You should not circulate with your pet in areas of the establishment that are not permitted: restaurant, bar hallways and lounges. (except in cases where the pet is a guide or guide) If the pet is a guide or guide, it can accompany its pet. love throughout his entire tour at the hotel.

    15. To avoid accidents, never let your pet go while you are within the hotel facilities.​

      • To maintain a clean and pleasant space, prevent your pet from relieving itself in public areas of the hotel.

      • In the assigned area, the guest is obliged to carry a plastic bag to collect their pet's waste.

      • The hygiene of your pet, as well as the area where it stays, is the responsibility of the guest. Always have your cleaning kit on hand.

      • The hotel provides you with a kit for collecting excrement in case you need it (not included). Inquire at the hotel reception.

    16. If your pet wastes liquid or solid waste on carpets, beds, mattresses, sofas, chairs       decorative or other element of the hotel, its cleaning will be the responsibility of the owner and if cleaning is not possible, the owner must pay for the product.

    17. This regulation applies from the first moment you enter the hotel with your pet.

    18. All damages or losses caused by the pet in the hotel facilities must be assumed by its owner. For this reason, a credit card guarantee must be provided and if the damage exceeds the value of the guarantee, the excess must be paid with another means of payment.

     

    Please avoid bringing dogs that habitually bark excessively or are aggressive toward people or other pets. The complaint of another guest will be taken with the utmost seriousness and it will be the management's decision to terminate the accommodation contract.

     

    If you are a service dog, guide or guide dog, please notify us. Well, in this case, some points of this regulation may not apply.
